Spruce Park Neighborhood Association serves two areas with homes of special historical significance. Spruce Park Neighborhood is on the National Register of Historic Places and the New Mexico State Register of Cultural Properties, and Sigma Chi Residential Historic District is on the New Mexico State Register of Cultural Properties. Decisions made by the Albuquerque City Government about our neighborhood do not currently consider its historic value. This has been problematic, but a Historic Protection Overlay can help preserve our homes now.
